Unisys IT Modeler

Unisys IT Modeler is a powerful solution used to discover, store, link and continuously update information on IT and business assets. This highly customizable, Web-based application and robust repository will create visibility into Texas IT infrastructure resources and document their relationships with other business domain assets. IT Modeler helps state and local agencies rationalize and optimize their IT operations and infrastructure, maximize their limited budgets, determine which assets must be reconfigured to support new processes and continually improve quality.


IT Modeler is a valuable tool to help agencies support key initiatives such as infrastructure optimization and technology migrations – particularly to open source – and IT governance frameworks. This solution brings together critical IT and business data from the many domains in an agency’s enterprise into a single system and enables them to conceptualize, associate, navigate, and report on this information as a single, logical unit. The result is faster, more effective decision making in the face of increasingly complex environments and the ability to create the information needed to establish complete alignment of IT with business goals.

Unisys Real-Time Chargeback

Real Time Chargeback (RTC) provides agencies with a means for tracking billable resources at a system/virtual partition level, an application level (with Unisys patent pending Deductive Workload Profiling technology), or at both levels. It is used with a third-party billing application for generating invoices to assess appropriate chargebacks to application owners.


Many enterprises are reducing the number of servers required and consolidating applications on a single instance of an operating system or moving applications to virtual server instances. RTC is a set of tools that helps an agency collect and manage data on resource utilization for both consolidated application servers and virtual servers. RTC captures data from 32-bit and 64-bit Windows- and Linuxbased servers. It supports physical, Microsoft virtual, VMWare ESX 3.0 virtual, and Microsoft clustered servers.
